what do “The Friends ofJordanville Public Library” do?

The primary function of the “Friends” is to help raise money for the Summer Reading Program and assist with other programming as needed throughout the year. We do this by helping with fund-raising events and providing refreshments or assisting with set up and clean up for programs held at the library.  We typically have 2 meetings a year, one in the spring and one in the fall. We always are looking for more friends.  If you are interested in joining the “Friends” group please don’t hesitate to let someone at the desk know and they will be happy to hook you up!

What  programming does the library do?

Summer Reading Programming is for everyone young and old alike.Many events are structured for families.  Other seasonal programming is also offered for our patrons. Past programs have included:

Afternoon tea and sandwiches for our Poldark Viewing
Our local children enjoying their card workshop with Bev
“The Ditch Done Run Dry” plays at “The Jordanville Opera House” Summer, 2016. Well done everyone!!!
