DMV: 8:30 am to 4:45 pm
EDL and REAL IDs will only be issued from 8:30 am to 3:15 pm
and CDLs will only be issused from 8:30 am to 2:00 pmRECORDING DESK: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Summer Hours from Memorial Day through Labor Day 8:30 am to 4:00 pm
The Old Forge DMV office will be open Fridays only from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm until further notice.
Transactions must arrive 15 minutes before the end of the business day

Holidays Office Closed: New Year’s, Martin Luther King Jr, President’s, Good Friday, Memorial, Independence, Labor, Columbus, Election, Veterans’, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas. The DMV is now open for walk-ins. For your convenience, you can still use the drop boxes which are located on the corner of Washington Street and Mary Street in Herkimer and on Mary Street in the front of the Herkimer County Office Building.
